Hello Welcome to my public weblog and virtual playground. Here is where I test and experiment on web technologies. I’m not a pro web developer though (-_-;” ) nor am I attending any formal school for web design. I am not an IT student nor an Arts major. I am actually in the medical field (^__^” ) ehehe. This blog is more of a hobby. I spend my extra time (or procrastination time) in here.

I love to learn and almost always gets fascinated with anything cool on the web. (Makes me want to try it once.) Spend time browsing some of my categories and you’ll see just how much of an obsessed person I am. It’ll make you wonder if I even have time to do anything else.

I’m currently learning CSS and photoshop. I want to think I’m getting better at it. haha ^_^ If I have more time, I want to learn about PHP and mysql.

I’m a big anime and jdrama fan! So you’ll most likely read stuff about Japan, Anime, Manga, Jdrama and local cosplay conventions. If you ask me why I love anime and go as far as attend conventions when I am *ahem* in my twenteens, I wouldn’t know what to tell you even if I try.

Domain name

Yuusuki is a combination of the words yuusu (youth) and ki (spirit). I made this blog cause I want to capture the spirit of my youth. I am not getting any younger. Pretty soon I’m going to have to face reality and probably leave the net world for good *ahem* so until that time comes, I am going to enjoy life and the things I can do now.

The youth here is not used as an element of time but of a person’s state of mind. (a girl can dream right?! haha ) To better explain it, here’s a quote from Frank Lloyd Wright:

While being young is an accident of time, youth is a permanent state of mind.

This domain name is hosted through Philhosting.net. Awesome staff, very helpful and easy to talk to. I think I gave them a hard time during my first few months hehe I didn’t know anything about websites and stuff so I kept bugging them with questions everytime something went wrong.

What is an asrai?

The Asrai are small, fragile, female beings who turn to a puddle of water when they are captured or exposed to sunlight. ~ Encyclopedia Mythica

I chose this name because like the asrai I felt very weak in so many aspects. And just the same I am as brave as one. Though I’m always struggling and a bit *ahem* mediocre, I am brave enough to not give up. I am still here, I am still alive. So in a sense, I am stronger than most people.

on Blogging and Past life

I started blogging during my first year in college. Life was toxic back then (still is) and this was the only way I can kill off my professors without being branded a psychotic loony. xp
